Medford sales top out at $1.1 million as trust transfers dominate recorded deeds
Medford recorded 18 property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19. Of the eight sales with a posted price, figures ranged from $675,000 to $1,100,000, with a median of $870,000. The month's top sale was 160 Brooks St. at $1,100,000, sold by James W. Costello Jr. to Ayse Uretmen and Nicholas Karl Schiller. Ten of the 18 recorded deeds have no price yet available, several tied to apparent family trust or estate transfers, including two separate Marion Street properties and two Pasquale Giovanna properties moved into trust on the same day. The recorded data shows a mix of single-family homes, condominium units and one LLC purchase.
