Medford Home Prices Span Nearly $1 Million in Latest Sales Period

MEDFORD -- Home sales recorded in Medford over the past month ranged from $495,000 to $1,440,000, with a median disclosed price of $892,500, according to deeds filed with the South Middlesex Registry of Deeds.

MARKET OVERVIEW Eighteen property transfers were recorded in Medford between June 26 and July 25. Of those, 12 deeds -- two-thirds of the total -- included a disclosed sale price; the remaining six were recorded without a stated consideration amount, which is common for transfers between family members or into a trust. Among the 12 disclosed sales, prices ranged from $495,000 to $1,440,000, and the median price was $892,500. Rounding out the top five, 16 Hale Ave sold for $1,050,000 on June 26, sold by James M. Maher to Danielle I. Rock. Bedroom, bathroom and square-footage figures were not available in the deed records for any of these sales. All five of the month's top-priced sales were recorded as single-address properties rather than condominium units.
