Medford Home Sales Top Out at $1.59 Million as Trust Transfers Dominate September Deed Activity

Medford recorded 15 property transfers between Sept. 11 and Oct. 10, but only five carried a sale price so far, ranging from $369,900 to $1,590,000 with a median of $912,000. The month's top sale was 20 Hillside Ave at $1.59 million, bought by Atsuko Polzin from the Mortimer Leo Realty Trust. More

The month's top sale was 20 Hillside Ave at $1.59 million, bought by Atsuko Polzin from the Mortimer Leo Realty Trust. More than half the recorded transfers appear to be family or trust transfers rather than open-market sales, which likely explains why most lack a recorded price. One sale, a Middlesex Avenue condo unit, went to a foreclosure-focused buyer. The remaining prices should populate in the registry data over the coming week.
